Believe in the Bunny & Pop-Up ABC Cards – NEW today!

Spring is here! It is my first Spring in Seattle and so far it has been beautiful! I hope it continues! :) I was inspired by the weather this week to create a new Spring/Easter kit and I love how it came out. The LOs my CT made are adorable as well. Check it out:

We also have this fun and cute way to make learning the ABCs and writing fun for your young child with these Pop-Up ABC Cards. You can choose the layered templates to create a customized version or the ready-to-print pre-decorated version that Rebecca Kuchenbecker put together pulling graphics from many different kits (in other words, she did all the work for you! hehe).

Hope you are enjoying the new Spring weather where you live and have a great weekend!

Sneak Peek

Woo Hoo!  Another Friday is upon us and that means you get a peek at what Heather has been up too this week!  With Easter right around the corner and spring weather here, you will definitely want to check this out!

You can pick it up tomorrow in Heather’s Store at Sweet Shoppe Designs!

Early Easter and springtime gift ideas

Hi, SaraL here.  I thought with Spring & Easter rapidly approaching I would take this opportunity to show off a couple of Heather’s perfectly themed DIY printable templates!

There are two in particular I thought I’d highlight with you today.  Firstly Heather’s DIY Printable Templates: Carrot Box

As always, Heather’s templates come with nice, straight-forward instructions plus the ready-to-print version of the template that you can see in the preview above too!  Here’s another example, which I made last week:

This is the perfect template to use when you need multiple versions of it, such as for a group of children or as fun table favours at your family’s Easter meal. I used similarly patterned paper in all the available colours from Heather’s Run Wild digital scrapbooking kit, and then finished the filled carrot boxes off with just a simple ribbon bow, glue-dotted to the top.  These boxes make a sweet ‘n simple prizes or gifts, which require very little equipment or time to create.

Next, let me remind you of this eggs-tremely cute gift bag template (old bad joke, I know!), Heather’s DIY Printable Templates: Egg Gift Bag

The ready-to-print version accompanying this template is totally adorable as you can see, but I thought I’d show you that you could also make the gift bag look a little more sophisticated, perhaps for an adult, by simply choosing a different colour pallet or kit to play with:

See what I mean? The soft colours & the heart embellishments from Heather’s collab kit with Shawna Clingerman, Love You Beary Much, make this egg gift bag feel a little more grown-up – think your other half or even your in-law’s!

Now, to make things simple, Heather has packaged these two lovely templates together, saving you money & making the choice easier: buy both!!

I hope you have fun playing with Heather’s templates & kits to help you make this Easter perfect, with a lovely home-made collection of colourful gifts & goodies!

Remember to show off whatever you create in the gallery at the Sweet Shoppe!

See you next month!
